Name: Nick Lund Madsen

Age: 22

Location: Denmark

Your Character & Stats

Character name (include armory link): Dupléx

Character class: Hunter

Character spec/offspec (Please describe your experience with, and gear level (not gearscore) of your offspec set):
My main spec is Beast mastery because it deals the most damage on single target when played correct.
For offspec I play Survival when I need some more spread damage.

Please explain why you selected these talents and why you believe they are optimal for your raid performance:
The talents I use really vary a lot on the fight.
Level 15 Talents: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Chimera, reduce the CD on deterrence by 60 sec. Deterrence can but used on almost all fights to reduce damage taken, which means I will need less healing which means the healers can focus on other stuff. It is a little damage loss but it is worth for the sake of the guilds progress.
Level 30 Talents: Binding Shot, this is the talent I use the most, because on some fights it can AoE stun the adds which it a good help for the healers.
Level 45 Talents: Aspect of the Iron Hawk or Spirit Bond, I mostly use AotIH on fights with hard burst dmg and Spirit Bond when I continuously take small damage .
When it comes to the damage talents I ofc use the one that provide the most damage.

On boss fights:
Thok the Bloodthirsty
The bats that spawn out of the poison gate can be stunned by Binding Shot. (Heroic)
Deterrence deflects the damage of shock blast.
Feign Death makes fixate jump to another player.
Kor'kron Dark Shaman
Deterrence blocks the damage from Ashen Wall.
You can Disengage over the Ashen Wall.
Binding Shot works on the ooze adds.
Deterrence blocks the damage from Falling Ash.
Deterrence reduces the damage from Iron Prison You can also use AotIH (will reduce around 10% life) if you want to save your deterrences.

I could list more but I guess I have proven my point.

Please explain why you selected your glyphs, and why they are beneficial over alternate glyphs:
Glyphs agian vary from fight to fight and specc.

1) Glyph of Animal Bond: 10% more healing -> survivability bonus. This together with Aspect of the Iron Hawk makes us pretty solid healing wise.
2) Glyph of Deterrence: This brings us to a total of 50% damage reduction when you use Deterrence - Ey we got ourselves a shield wall!
2) Glyph of Mirrored Blades: reduce all incomming damage to 0, in some situation.
3) Glyph of Disengage: I like this one if the fight requires a lot of movement.

A lot of other glyphs can be used in different situation like Glyph of Explosive Trap, if the guild needs some knockback

Just use whatever you like. I would probably go for these 2 though:
1) Glyph of Aspect of the Cheetah
2) Glyph of Revive Pet

Character professions (and how these benefit your raid performance):
The best profession used to be Leatherworking. But they changed the wrist enchant from 170 agility to 180 agility. So the benefit from LW is 320 agility (500-180), which means that it provides the same bonus as any other profession.

LWing still gives you cheap leg enchant Yay!
1. Leatherworking ( 320 agility )
2. Engineering ( ~320 agility on average - 1920 Agility for 10seconds every 60seconds), can be line with burst which is awesome!

How do you rate your primary / secondary stats in order of importance? Explain why / how you came to this conclusion:
I have not been playing for the last two and a half month, but from what I found it is still the same which means it should be like this.
After capping hit and expertise (2550 rating each), you should go for Crit > Haste > Mastery for the rest of the gear for both BM and SV.

Explain your reforging strategy, and why it benefits your character:
Hit and expertise (2550 rating each) and then go for Crit > Haste > Mastery.
The reason for this is because sim says so, I can't really explain why.

Total /played time: 410 Days
Total /played time at 90: 101 Days

Group Therapy(25-man) ended as rank 90 this tier

In the current raiding tier, how would you approach the different encounters and how would your class benefit progression / the raiding squad:

In stead of talking about every single fight which may bore you I will just pick some of the most challenging.
Siegecrafter Blackfuse
You can safely Disengage on and off the Assembly line with (Glyph of Disengage) Every time!.
You can Deterrence the fire that the laser creates and not take any damage or gain any stacks of superheated.
As a last resort, you can use Deterrence to run through the fire lasers that kill you on the conveyor belt.
You can use Deterrence to block the overload damage from shredders.
General Nazgrim
With the Assurance of Consequence trinket you are able to line Stampede up with the first two Berserker Stance (25% increased damage taken) phases. Wait for the first Berserker Stance phase, then use stampede right away. After that it should line up with the next one.
Your pet can safely attack Nazgrim during Defensive Stance.
Flare can be used to reveal the Assassins
Binding shot stuns the adds.
Iron Juggernaut
If timed properly, Disengage can negate the knockback from his Shock Pulse cast.
With glyped Deterrence and Aspect of the Iron Hawk you can soak the crawler mines that are placed out.
Deterrence blocks the damage and negates the knockback from his Shock Pulse cast.

These are just some exampels of how Hunters can help and benefit the raid.

Please provide recent WoW Web Stat, World of Logs reports (or similar):
This is from Impulsive(10-man) where I had some decent ranks:
Primodius rank 2
Horridon rank 6
Tortos rank 8
Durumu the Forgotten rank 11
Other ranks where around 50-200'ish, I did not go for ranks at this point tho because it was during progress. Going for ranks means skipping tacs and only focus on damage.
This is from Group Therapy(25-man)

Previous guild(s) and reasons for leaving:
I have been in a lot of different guilds during my time in World of Warcraft,
Impulsive: I was in Impulsive for two years. To make a long story short people in Impulsive wanted different things, some wanted faster progress and some wanted it to become more casual therefore the guild disbaneded and people went in different directions. Personally I wanted the 4 raiding days we had to keep our progress.
Group Therapy: I went to Group Therapy after Impulsive disbanded. The other people made a new guild "disbanded" which are rank 21 in 10-man. My time in Group Therapy was short I was only there for 6 months. The reason for this was that I suddenly got some real life problems which keept my away from the game. When I came back the game they did not need my any longer.

Other than that I have been in a pvp guild "Selectiv Warefare" where I got "Hero of the horde" top .5% in RBG.

Raid attendance in your previous guild:
In Impulsive I had 91% attendance because I skipped some of the farm raids.
In Group Therapy I had 95 % attendance during farm and progress.

Do you have Ventrilo/Mumble and a working microphone:
Yes to both.

Please list all sources you commonly use for Theorycrafting:
Normally when I want to make sure that I understand something, is visit Elitist Jerks and MMO-champoion, because they are active forums with a lot of constroctive imputs. I also check out the top hunters like Rogerbrown, Pottm etc. to see what they do. And sometimes I watch Devai stream.
Other than that I use simcraft to check my reforge and the damage output I should be able to do.

Please provide a list of addons you use which help you perform your role in raids:
JSHB - The bar that show my focus, cd's on my abilites and how long time they are up, it also show the boss hp in %.
OmniCC - Show the cd on all my abilities.
For raiding I have the following addons:
Deadly boss mods and BigWigs depending on which addon that update first.

Are you able to make our raid times? We only raid three days so expect potential applicants to be able to make all of them:
I can raid all those days and I will be able to keep 100 % attendance since you only raid 3 days a week.

Provide a high resolution screenshot or preferably video displaying all your keybindings and your user interface in a raiding environment. This is a mandatory field to allow us to inspect your choice of UI and keybindings. Failure to include a screenshot with your application will result in a decline:
A screen shot of my UI

General Information

Do you have any pertinent alts that could be of use? If so please provide details regarding spec/gear:
I do not have any good geared alts but I am willing to gear one if it is needed.
I have all classes in level 90.

What type of internet connection do you have, how reliable is it and what is your typical raiding latency (Also please provide result):
Speedtests result

50MB/50MB is really good in Denmark
I never DC during raid and I have never had problems with it.

Do you have a Authenticator attached to this account:

Reasons why you would like to join (and what you expect from Pure):
The thing that made me apply is that I'm going to start writing my bachelor in economics. So I will be having a lot of free time so raid 3 times a week will not a problem, I am looking for a good guild with a high skills cap and few raids in order to progress, because thats what I like about the game at the moment. And here the raid times fit me perfect wednesday, thursday and sunday between 19:00-23:15, because I don't have any plan at these times.

How did you hear of Pure:
I heard about this guild from my friend Walley in Disbánded which is also my old guildmaster.

What you think you can bring to Pure:
I have 100 % Attendance both during progress.
I don't mind being on standby or passing loots to improve the roster.
I'm mature 22 years old, high skilled, motivated and I love progressing and challenges.
I always join the ptr to test the bosses for the next tier, so I am a well imformed/prepaired player and I know everything before the raid start.

Additional notes from you:
First of all I am a perfectionist when it comes to my character I have 2019 out of 2057 achievements.
I do not have any plans the next 6 months which means I will not be afk or on vacaiton or take breaks from raiding.
