What is your guild and raid history and what is the reason for leaving said guilds?

Current guild: Pure Luck, 8/10 mythic nighthold, 3/3 mythic ToV.

https://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/draenor/Pure+Luck

I joined Pure Luck in November 2016. Here I progressed ToV 3/3m, NH HC and NH M. We've currently killed 8/10m, recently downing Augur after the nerf. We had her on 4% pre nerf but managed to get the kill after the silly HP changes.

I have been the healing officer within the guild for the past month (give or take), after being asked by the Guild master to take on some responsibilities. However, despite my enjoyment for the role, I quickly realised that almost all of the guilds responsibilities were being handed to me. For example, I raid led the guild for the Augur progression and kill due to the main tank (warrior) being sat. I also did most raid prep going into Elisande and did almost all guild log analysis on top of my own personal log analysis.

It has now come to our attention that the Guild Master cannot commit to 3 raid days per week anymore due to work commitments. This would mean that I would take on almost all his duties and would have to try and keep the guild alive. This is not something I am interested in.

The guild is going to seize raiding completely for the rest of legion and I'm looking for a stable and like minded guild to finish out NH progression.

Old guild: Not Even Trying: 6/7M EN, 3/3 TOV HC/b]
https://www.wowprogress.com/guild/eu/draenor/Not+Even+Trying

Not Even Trying was my first "serious" guild back in the EN days. I joined here when I was 1/7m and ended up progressing and killing Cenarius with them. I was then sat on the Xavius kill as disc was seen to be weaker on that encounter. The guild disbanded shortly after the first kill.

[b]Pre-Legion:

I didn't really raid or play seriously in this stage of the game. I played casually and messed around with PvP and some casual PvE. Not notable guilds or achievements.

Do you have any pertinent alts that could be of use? If so, what is your raiding experience with your alts?
I have one geared alt, a Mistweaver. This character has very good leggo's with velens and prydaz. However, I don't really enjoy playing it that much and I'm not very good at it yet. I do believe however, that given some time and TLC I could reach a decent level on this alt.

Why do you want to join Pure and what goals do you have?

My goals are simple really, I want to play World of Warcraft with players who share the same love for the game. In my opinion, the game is super good right now. It's only going to better in 7.2. I want like minded players who are interested in the game, enjoy the grind, and want to clear content at a competitive pace.

I'm also looking for a guild that can offer stability in terms of it's leadership. One of the problems in my current guild was a shaky officer team. When I took over the responsibility I saw first hand how much work is required, and in fact how much of that work was being neglected by the previous officer team.

The cracks in the guild's leadership began to show and have ultimately led to where I am right now. Swapping guilds, realms and so on is not something I want to do often.

What do you think you can bring to Pure and what do you expect of us as a guild?

I can offer multiple things to the guild.

A Disc priest! Also, a committed, hard working player who loves the game in pretty much all of it's aspects. I enjoy the AP grind, I enjoy m+, I love the spec too, it's super fun.

I expect organisation, a solid roster and very few weak links within the roster (I'm coming from a guild where multiple weak links have been dragged through content at the cost of speed and ease).

I'm social, vocal, have a broad understand of almost all healing specs in the current state of the game. I'm able to effectively plan my own CD use and other healers CD use.

Finally, it would be beneficial for you to understand the strengths and weaknesses of my class before deciding to take me on. It's has great throughput, great CD's and decent enough damage. It does however has limits, mainly mana use. This is why many guilds including mine right now run with boomkins and rets to further expand the potential of the class.

I can slot into the roster right now and have no innervates, no wisdom and will do well. However, I can also thrive if the guild can put some power behind me in terms of external mana.

How did you hear of Pure?

Wowprog.

Do you know anyone in Pure that can vouch for you?

No.

Additional notes:

The move is from Draenor Horde. It'll be costly. Whilst I am very interested in joining you guys, I'd like to at least be up front with the fact that I may apply to other guilds as well.

I much appreciate you taking the time to read this and hopefully it's ticked a couple of boxes.

I also have a personal BoW machine who will be applying from my current guild. His name is Mazethedin but he isn't a requirement ;)

Hi Distance,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. After careful consideration we have decided we are unable to offer you a trial. Best of luck finding a new guild,

Helmsley.
