What is your guild and raid history and what is the reason for leaving said guilds?
My current guild is Pure Luck on Draenor. Our guild leader and raid leader has had shitloads of problems with his work schedule (he is a nurse). Therefore the past 2 months he hasn't been in half of the raids, and today we got a message from an officer that said our guild leader can't commit to raiding 3 days anymore, nor being the guild leader. And the 2 officers we have don't want to take the burden of being the guild leader either, or a full time raid leader. Therefore the officers decided that the guild stops raiding for the remainder of Legion.
Do you have any pertinent alts that could be of use? If so, what is your raiding experience with your alts?
Currently working on it, slow but steady. Playing survival as I enjoy melee quite a lot more than ranged (though on WoD I played the same hunter and during WoD it was obviously ranged), and it has it's strengths with it's one of the highest AoE burst in the game, which helps on for example Gul'dan style fights. I played a hunter main in WoD for my time during said expansion.
Why do you want to join Pure and what goals do you have?
I aim to clear the content and the reason I want to join you is that I believe you do as well. Your decent history in earlier expansions as well show that the officers and majority of the guild have dedication to the game and you have your shit together. I want to be part of a community that has been up for a longer time (shows stability) and will also be consistent and persist for a long period, and since you've existed for quite a while already, I put my trust in your guild not going to disband anywhere soon. I want to join a community that I am happy to stay in and a community I don't want to leave. I'm looking for a long-term home I can put my dedication in. Due to the things I stated above, I believe it could be Pure.
Essentially as said, my goal is to clear the content while it's current. On top of that I strive to be extremely competitive, and I'd like to seek world rank 150 with a guild as well as compete within the world top 100 Warriors. I aim to be as good in the game as I can possibly be with the time I dedicate to the game. As soon as the next expansion hits, I'd like to be in the same guild I've been the past expansion, so I value stability really, really much, so I am in it for the long term. I'd like to find a lasting "home" at last.
What do you think you can bring to Pure and what do you expect of us as a guild?
I think that I'd be a good addition to the guild as I am highly competitive and aim to be one of the top players of my class, which means I do research all the time to be better. I am highly dedicated and will come with full consumables and 100% focus to every single raid no exceptions. I am also very vocal when needed, and I can handle shitloads of banter. I've also got the experience from progress raids needed to endure long progress on some bosses, without getting frustrated or tilted. I do lots of research prior to progressing a new boss and will try to help any way I can.
I'm also a highly enthusiastic gamer overall. Between WoW I've played as a professional CS:S player here in Finland. That shows that I take games fairly seriously, though it is a requirement for me to have fun meanwhile as well.
I except same minded people from the guild, and some good banter and having fun as well, while keeping the raiding environment serious enough to do progress!
How did you hear of Pure?
I found you from WoWProgress. Haven't played Alliance in several years, so can't really recall any alliance guild names. :)
Do you know anyone in Pure that can vouch for you?
Not really no. Like I said, haven't played alliance for a long time, and never on Turalyon either.
I don't currently have anything to add, but I'd like to have a brief chat with the officers before joining in the VoIP that you use, be it Discord or whatever.
