[b]What is your guild and raid history and what is the reason for leaving said guilds?
Currently in Imperium-Nagrand, reason for leaving is mostly because the quality of players present is so poor that the few decent players carry them (mostly DPS). There seems to be very little motivation from the guild core to play the game - neck levels still not max, not BiS benthic, barely log on outside of raids.
Started raiding in Emerald Nightmare, got the bug and wanted more! Joined a casual guild on my server called Angels of Temptation where I build a mythic raid team from nothing to 5/10M NH before ToS came out. I was the raid leader, and recruiter, so gave me good experience early on. Wanted to join a Cutting Edge guild so left during Tomb.
ToV (The Chosen)
Runic-Frostmane (later transferred horde and to Stormscale for BfA)
Achieved CE KJ (cannot remember what rank as I cannot find it on WoWprog anymore) but probably around ~500.
CE Argus (similar rank)
Guild disbanded after Vectis Mythic in Uldir.
Order of Sargeras-Kazzak
Joined for 3 weeks before they disbanded, achieved 6/8M Uldir
The Next Step-TwistingNether
Achieved rank#235 CE G'huun and progressed well until Jaina where I transferred guilds, would have got rank#169 but killed it at a later date during reclears.
Did not get on with the Healing officer as he was a terrible player and used to flame the healers a lot, despite being dead most of progress due to bad play. Wanted to join a top 100 guild (sadly this was a mistake).
Achieved CE rank#190 Uu'nat
CE rank #192 Azshara
[b]Do you have any pertinent alts that could be of use? If so, what is your raiding experience with your alts?
I have good experience raiding with all healing classes. My main alt right now would be my priest which is being geared up right now. I went through Mythic BoD with priest until Rastakhan, and also progressed mythic G'huun on my MW monk. Aim has always been to have 2x alts for tiers, but this summer was particularly busy and I did not keep alts up to date. For next tier, there will be 2x alts ready (likely to be whatever we need in terms of healing + ranged DPS)
[b]Why do you want to join Pure and what goals do you have?
My main goal is to raid efficiently and clear end-game content with people at the same skill level as myself. I want to achieve Famed Slayer for all future tiers and have a decent laugh with people whilst doing so! Pure offers a history of very good kill ranks, and clearly has a stable leadership.
[b]What do you think you can bring to Pure and what do you expect of us as a guild?
I bring a high level of dedication to raid prep and commitment to see the job through - mid-tier quitting is not an option (only for people with no balls). I am always searching for ways to improve my class and playstyle through analysing logs and self-criticism. I am also all about doing what is necessary for the kill of progress bosses! Be it DPSing as holy for most of the fight until the end, or to meet particularly tight DPS checks, to stepping in on an alt which happens to be OP for a fight, or even sitting on the bench if my particular class is not suited to that fight (not something I would necessarily allow as I would aim to cover this by maining a character that I know will be suited all tier). In return, I expect the same level of commitment and dedication to raiding - being clear if players are slacking, and being open to people (including) myself on areas they think I can improve on a fight.
[b]How did you hear of Pure?
Just through Wowprogress and during my time with Order of Sargeras - followed the guilds with higher ranks to see what they were doing differently.
[b]Do you know anyone in Pure that can vouch for you?
No one, yet.
The best way to get to understand the sort of player I am is to have a quick chat over discord. I can be free most evenings and would love to chat about any concerns or questions you might have from my application.
As you might notice from my logs, I have had to DPS as Holy pala for most bosses in EP from Ashvane due to severe lack of effort from a lot of the slacking DPS in guild. You will also see that when I have been able to heal, I can quite comfortably pump great numbers without any cheesing. You should be able to see that regardless of what role I am given, I will do well at it.
I work as a Project Manager in a global leading engineering company during the week. I have a good gaming laptop too that I am able to take wherever and still make raids, even if I have to be in a different country!! (Raided most places in Europe, and even in Japan). With my job, I can offer leadership qualities, but also am able to be a lot more relaxed and have good banter as a normal raider as I do enough management in my day job.
I welcome any feedback - good and bad, but hope I can be successful with my application and begin helping Pure achieve even higher raid ranks :-)
