What is your guild and raid history and what is the reason for leaving said guilds?
W R A T H - HFC 11/13M - This was my first tier playing in a very casual Heroic guild, that decided to go Mythic. I ended up swapping to tank to help with this and I had a lot of fun learning mythic raiding.
Squad Zero - EN, ToV, NH Cutting Edge - I was headhunted by a friend I played with in HFC to come and join their guild, I played Holy Paladin for all of these tiers until our offtank quit during NH progress, and I stepped into the main tanking role (as BrM and BDK, I played BDK in mythic plus so I had a very geared BDK alt) again for the sake of progress. It also allowed our GM / Raidleader to raidlead from the offtank position which allowed him more freedom to raidlead.
Azys - NH CE, ToS 7/9M (the guild got 9/9 though!) - Due to roster instability and ridiculous drama (as a general rule I have zero time for drama in my video games, this is something I do for escapism!) somewhat foreshadowed in the previous paragraph I left Squad Zero and was headhunted again into another guild. This guild didn't have a spot for a healer or tank but very much wanted me as a player, so I played a hunter alt for ToS progress. I unfortunately had some tragic real life circumstances and had to quit the game indefinitely during progress (but not before I got to experience the misery of sasszine, sisters and maiden prog ><) and wasn't able to return until Argus was already dead. At which point I decided I'd just wait for BFA.
I played BFA for about 2 months and decided that this wasn't it, chief. I came back in June or so of last year.
Grey Logs - Ny'alotha CE - After milling about in some casual guilds for fun I decided to properly get back into WoW and see where I could go. With no logs not from 2017 it took a while to find a guild, but I got my (very late) Cutting Edge N'zoth. I stuck with this guild and I am currently 8/10M Nathria but I'm looking for more from my raiding experience.
Do you have any pertinent alts that could be of use? If so, what is your raiding experience with your alts?
I have a somewhat geared druid (220~) but I would never ever expect to get the Rdruid slot in this guild! That said I'm sure I'd have an excellent teacher and I did learn druid being taught by Lyx, if Torty remembers who that is!
Otherwise I have some very shabbily geared 60 healer alts being a 2nd shaman, hpal and priest.
I have mained Hpal and Rsham predominantly whilst playing healer. I was a hpal main for most of Legion and for Nya. I mained rshaman this tier. I have also mained rdruid in the past when I was a more casual player and I've played every healer spec as an alt for fun at some point, and am very aware of how the specs work. I would say that considering I successfully rerolled to Shaman this tier on fairly short notice I would be confident being asked to play any healer for progress.
Why do you want to join Pure and what goals do you have?
As I mentioned earlier, I want more from my raiding experience. I take this game quite seriously, as much as I play it for fun, because for me optimising, pushing myself and just trying my absolute hardest to achieve the best I can is fun. My current goals are to make it into the top 50 in M+ (which I achieved but have since let slip again) and a top 100 guild in raiding. Crucially though just getting into the guild obviously isn't enough. I want to earn that spot and play at that level. Once I get there who knows. But I can absolutely promise I will put in the work.
What do you think you can bring to Pure and what do you expect of us as a guild?
I have a tremendous capacity to practice and put in work to improve. I have an excellent work ethic in this game and I believe I can always be improving. I am the kind of person who will raid multiple times whilst saved just to practice my class. I'm also very placid and never get angry, you will never hear me being toxic or raging on voice. I'm also smart enough to know I'm not perfect and I have a tonne to learn and improve on, and I always improve most when playing with amazing players. That is hopefully where you guys come in. I want to improve and take my gameplay to the next level and I feel that I can't do it from where I am now.
How did you hear of Pure?
Originally from Guilty. Then also by osmosis of knowing who Torty is.
Do you know anyone in Pure that can vouch for you?
I'm not sure that they can necessarily vouch for me but I used to be somewhat friendly with Guilty (and I'm a big fan of his twitter acc ngl), and I have PM'd Torty on discord a few times to help improve my Resto Druid play.
