What is your guild and raid history and what is the reason for leaving said guilds?
In BfA, I started to get a bit more serious with raiding in BoD, however my time was cut short prior to EP due to guild falling apart as well as some IRL stuff to focus on. That being said, BoD was in Dismissed on Drak'Thul (~300 WR) on a 2, later 3 day a week raid schedule.
As for Shadowlands, for CN I was part of Meaningful Choice on Twisting Nether (WR ~600). Guild was formed starting that tier, usual composition of a couple old, core players that have known and raided with each other for a while topped off by new additions. I haven't raided since BoD in BfA, so I figured this would be a good warm up and depending on how things shake out by the tier's end, perhaps even a permanent stay. Needless to say, that didn't quite work out. Wasn't satisfied with the leadership's approach, the raid leading or capabilities of most of my fellow raiders.
Currently in Just Kill The Boss on Kazzak on SoD progress. Going in, things looked promising - improvements on all the fronts which were lacking in the previous guild. This turned out to be true, but unfortunately not to a satisfactory level in my eyes. People's ability to do mechanics has been a problem since day 1, which has lead to higher pull counts and frustration in both raider and leadership's ranks. The latter is starting to show more and more lately and has been impacting atmosphere and subsequently morale and performance of the raid as such. I disagree with the way in which these issues were or were not addressed by the officers. Overall, having to wait for X pulls till people catch up with a mechanic or worse, having to wait till a mechanic lands on people that won't fail it, isn't fun.
Do you have any pertinent alts that could be of use? If so, what is your raiding experience with your alts?
Not at this time.
Why do you want to join Pure and what goals do you have?
I want to get the most out of the time and effort I put in. To me, that means pushing my limits and exceeding them so that I never stop improving. My goal is simple - to be the best warlock I can be (and then some).
I'm hoping that your guild would be a good environment to keep chasing after that goal and have fun while doing it.
What do you think you can bring to Pure and what do you expect of us as a guild?
I'm an overall chill guy, never rage out or become outwardly toxic. I speak my mind when I think of a way something could be done better or differently. I can take and, in fact, welcome criticism, preferably of the constructive sort. I prep well and do my due diligence to stay on top of both my personal play and what is needed for any particular task at hand so that I never hold the group back but push it forward instead.
I'm looking for environment that'll lend itself well to myself pushing towards my goal, which will in turn improve the guild. This means a positive, non-toxic atmosphere full of like minded players.
How did you hear of Pure?
Do you know anyone in Pure that can vouch for you?
I do not.
